Beginner Lessons

Our beginner program is suited for young riders (ages 7 and up) who want to immerse themselves in the cowgirl lifestyle by learning how to ride horses and care for their lesson horse's needs such as washing, feeding, or cleaning their stall. Riders come twice a week for their hour-long lesson and spend time before their lesson catching their horse, brushing, and saddling. After their lesson, they are to take care of their lesson horse and help with barn chores. All of this is supervised by their riding instructor and or our barn manager.

At the end of this initial semester, riders are evaluated to see if they are ready to graduate to intermediate lessons or continue another semester in the beginner program. Most semesters run 12-14 weeks long.

Monthly tuition: $600
